I am a retired pediatrician / child psychiatrist. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School, completed a Pediatric Residency at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center and a Psychiatric Residency at West Virginia University - Charleston Division. I am board certified in both pediatrics and psychiatry. I taught Behavioral Pediatrics to residents at Marshall University School of Medicine for 13 years. My primary focus has been on couples and families. I have had excellent training in couple and family therapy from Vann Joines, PhD., Ellyn Bader, PhD., Peter Pearson, PhD., and Katherine Waddell, LMFT.

My wife and I feel very lucky to have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. We moved to Cincinnati almost 10 years ago. My personal and professional experiences of family certainly affect my perspective in my work with couples. I strive to be compassionate, respectful, and effective with all the couples I see. I am committed to helping them make the changes that will allow them to reach their relationship goals. I no longer do any individual therapy, practice psychiatry or prescribe medications.
